Clearly I’m in love with tweed because I could not leave it alone today.  In addition to the envelope for the boyfriend’s lens’, I finished the major seaming on two purses. 

I bought the blue and orange velvet ribbon from a fabric store on the top of Queen Anne  hill.  I underestimated how much I’d need so will have to pick some more up tomorrow.  The blue trimmed bag has leather handles in the mail; being that it’s a replica of a bag that was featured on Modish and quickly sold out, I will not be trying to sell it or posting any tutorials.  The orange trimmed bag will have fabric handles and will probably be finished & on sale by the end of the week. 

On the plate for next week?  My first quilt!
