Party in a Box
Like a party in a box, Kristi’s package surprised me yesterday when I checked my mail.

I mentioned a million years ago when she moved from the northwest to Switzerland that I envied her her easy access to Milka bars, which I haven’t had the pleasure of enjoying since I came home from Prague 5 or so years ago.

I am going to take at least a month to eat these, savoring each square.
An amazing photographer whose work I’ve always admired, I’m also now lucky enough to have one of her photos as well. I’ll share it with you once I have it framed.
Thank you, Kristi!

Oh yum! I want chocolate so bad right now!
How wonderful! I love getting packages like these. And swiss chocolate?!?! That’s hard to beat.
the package looks adorable! :)
Milka = delicious! I remember flying Lufthansa years ago and being served the milk chocolate and strawberry combo on the plane. I didn’t think it would be good but it was tasty! (I had that expectation that the strawberry taste would be really artificial like what we’d get in the states. But it was as natural as you can get in a candy bar!) Still think I like best those Milka milk chocolate bars with the white cream layer in the middle though.
How kind of her! Enjoy!
I stumbled upon your blog the other day and it is just wonderful but when I saw this post about the Milka bars I couldn’t restist a comment. I too have enjoyed the great pleasure of Milka bars and I must say that I wish I could find them in the states. What a treat!
so sweet! oh and i have seen different types of Milka bars at cost plus world market!
What a fun package, it really does look like a party in a box! And chocolate too? Woohoo!
I see them all the time in the international food isle, they are by the scottish and u.k. foods.
that is so nice!!! what a wonderful package! Aren’t packages the best?? also, i LOVE milka bars!!
